SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen, 3 oz

Our sunscreen good enough for humans, environment and animals.  The FDA approved sunscreen agent in this product is the non-nano zinc oxide. However, every ingredient used in this formulation is considered a sunscreen. One ingredient, Red Raspberry Seed oil (Rubus idaeus) is known to contain a high level of EFA's (essential fatty acids) which research shows to be connected with reduction of the effects of oxidative stress in the body. It also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties. It may aslo act as a broad spectrum UVA and UVB shield. Of course, this statement has not been approved by the FDA.

If you want heavy protection, leave this lotion thicker and whiter on your skin. If you don't want the white, simply smooth it into the skin for UVA and UVB protection.

Remember to apply enough prior to going outside and reapply after being in the water or sweating.

    I've been using and loving Climb on products for years, especially the suncreen as my dog care business has me outside all year long. At a recent visit to my Derm. for annual skin check, I showed her the sunscreen and she said she had seen it, read the ingredients and it is a great product. I already knew that but was good to have a "professional" confirmation.

    I analyzed 20 or 25 of the top rated natural sunscreens (list put out by the Environmental Working Group) and narrowed it down to 3 brands based on ingredients only. I really like that Climb On! chooses natural ingredients unlike other brands who say they're natural but then throw in a few random things.

    The sunscreen itself is kind of an off-white color and the smell reminds me of sunflower seeds. It takes a few minutes to absorb into your skin, so don't rush it.

    Although I would prefer to have a more cosmetically appealing sunscreen (something that is less shiny) you can't really achieve that AND stay all natural. So, I can handle a little bit of shine if it means keeping toxins off my skin.

    I intend to purchase more products from this website. Give them a chance, they mean natural!!

    I have used this product for over a year. During this time for long ocean swimming in Hawaii, rock climbing and biking. It offers longterm protection and moisturizing. The best, safest product I have found!

    Finally, a sunscreen that can stand up to a full day on Mt. Rainier. I have tried every other basic, performance, and niche brand out there, and I always get burned, (physically and fiscally!) BUT FINALLY!! A full sunny rainier summit with NO SUNBURN!!!!!!! AND I ONLY APPLIED ONCE FOR A 16 hour day!!!!!

    I will never use another sunscreen.

  6. Photoallergic dermatitis but not with this sunscreen!

    I have VERY fair skin and, in recent months, photoallergic dermatitis. What that means is that if I put on sunscreen with chemicals and then head outdoors I break out in a red, itchy, scaly rash. Climbon is now the only sunscreen I will use. No rash, no sunburn! I can't speak highly enough about it. My skin feels fantastic also.

    I received a sample with my order last summer and absolutely loved it. It gave me great protection and felt great on my skin.
